Abstracts of a maximum of 300 words must be submitted in English or French through the Online Abstract/Paper Submission page of the TT2018 conference web site. Authors must select the technical theme under which they wish their paper to be presented when they submit their abstract – the technical committee may reallocate submissions to other themes as necessary.
Please use the TT2018 Abstract Template to ensure uniformity for the online technical program feature of the conference website – abstracts that do not use the template will need to be revised before final acceptance.
The (extended) deadline for abstract submission is May 4, 2018. Invitations for the submission of full papers will be sent by May 18, 2018 to corresponding authors whose abstracts are accepted by the conference’s Technical Committee.
Guidelines for the preparation and submission of final technical papers will be posted by mid-April 2018. Authors of accepted abstracts must submit their full paper by June 30, 2018, along with at least one full conference registration. Authors are expected to present their paper during the conference.
Full papers will be reviewed for clarity and technical merit – paper acceptance decisions will be sent by mid-July 2018. In cases where the review indicates that editorial or technical revisions are necessary, reviewer comments will be provided – revised papers will be due by July 31, 2018.
Final decisions regarding technical merit, relevance, and the assigned session topic for submitted papers will rest with the Technical Committee. Questions regarding session topics, etc., should be directed to the 2018 TAC/NASTT-NW Tunnelling and Trenchless Conference Technical Committee at email@example.com.
